It is now 1 year since we relocated to Bell Street, the retail store and interiors showroom are going from strength to strength. The move allowed us to showcase many more beautiful one off pieces of furniture. At present everyone is talking about the stunning Driftwood table we have sitting centre stage in the store. It certainly has the "wow" factor!

We have also introduced a beautiful neat french sofa with a grey, washed oak frame upholstered in pale linen. This would look great sat at the end of a bed, or as a pair facing each other in a sitting room with a low coffee table set between.

We are  loving William Yeoward’s new collection of eclectic practical prints and weaves launched in Paris earlier this year.

William has chosen design palettes reflecting his recent travels to Turkey, Thailand and Northern Italy. This collection has a fabulous organic feel with tumbled linen, heavy weaves, stripes, abstract checks and a fun spot which could be introduced into a variety of schemes.

Now that it’s getting lighter outside, everything somehow feels easier to accomplish, don’t you agree? 

This season we are focusing on bringing the light inside the home with bright, crisp bed linen, new pillows and throws.

For Spring, the colours are more vivid than ever before, raspberry reds, crisper blues and aqua greens are the key themes this season.

Mix and match these together with beiges, whites and denims to make your room feel spring fresh and natural.

With all the rumours that have been flying around about Anne Haimes Interiors we are delighted to announce that we will be moving to Bell Street in just over two weeks, we are getting increasingly excited about our new premises.  The new shop looks fantastic and that’s without all our new stock! 42 Bell Street, will, as ever, have beautiful displays offering a wide variety of gifts and interior accessories. 

Our stunning new showroom and studio, 47a Bell Street, is a tall elegant Georgian building, which will be open for people to come in and look through our extensive library of fabric and wallpaper books.  A bright and spacious drawing room, will be perfect for clients to come and discuss projects. The top floor bedroom is dedicated to Lexington, showcasing furniture and bedding.

The showroom and studio will be open Monday to Friday and on Saturdays by appointment.

This season is seeing the introduction of super soft leathers available in array of colours and textures, used on headboards and upholstery giving a really luxurious feel.  Silk satin in vibrant colours, fine linen sheers in muted tones all add to the feeling of luxury and glamour.

Blankets and throws in fabulous textures, intricate hand woven alpaca, luxuriously soft cashmere, boucle, basket weave and cable knits in greys, pale stone and muted colours or a beautiful rich shade of Damson and Blueberry.

Pendent lights or chandeliers made up of etched glass or coloured glass or strips of metal such as copper or satin nickel.  Lighting technology is advancing rapidly and if well thought out and kept within a sensible budget can be used to amazing effect.

Metallics are still popular but used to a much softer effect, burnished silvers, almond gold and pale brass.

Wall panels finished in walnut or upholstered in fabrics or a lacquered textured MDF.
